Review summary

This cruise really sold me on the Carnival brand. They really do care about your experience from the sailing, too the excursions, too your personal enjoyment. The length was perfect and the amount of days at sea really helped to break up the stresses that some let's bring on. Great Serenity area with exception of noisy children playing mini golf above. Can't wait to cruise again!

Boarded ship on second day due to travel issues. Crew members on-board made me feel very welcome. Very effortless process. Does

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious. Everything was extremely clean and the staff were all very friendly.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Went to cooking demonstration. Food prepared tasted great! The dining room chefs couldn't replicate on next night.

The Fun Shops

5 out of 5

Good selection of items available. Had to purchase several necessities due to luggage being stuck at airport and crew members were very helpful.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage performers were a little disappointing (sometimes off key). Mis-cast some of the entertainers in the shows. The Fun Squad were awesome with tons of great energy and the cruise director, Marq, was great, as always.

Children's Programs

Was not traveling with children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Guess services staff were very professional and ready to help with any issue presented to them. The servers in the dining room were attentive and often times predicted what we needed at our table. Our room stewards were friendly and always had a smile on their face.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Sailed on the Splendor two months prior and I noticed no changes. Very clean and well kept ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was a good size! Only complaint is the noise from upstairs. We discovered that we were under the bridge and captains rooms. Small children on ship due to Christmas sailing and they'd run around in their room at odd hours.

Ship tip

Be ready for pink zebra printed polka dots and black tile with lime green grout lines!

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Too many people here. Not the cleanest of ports. Not much to

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
Not much to do in the port town. Next time will venture out on an excursion to enjoy more of what Antigua had to offer.

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
The island is beautiful. Also devastated from hurricane, but glad to see things up and running. Annoying part were the hawkers trying to get me to buy services. Easy

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and smooth !
