Review summary

Due to our last minute change in destination because of hurricane damage, I was a bit skeptical about going at all. But they made up for it! Excellent customer service anytime we needed anything. A few flaws that I think can be changed: they always have photographers at every port stop at. Maybe move them away from the guests getting on and off the ship? It does create congestion for those of us not interested. Very smoothly run process overall! I'd definitely go again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The embarkation process was slow in the baggage area but otherwise spectacular. The luggage did take over 6 hours to get to our room, though!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent food in all categories. Service was slow with our large group for a few nights in The Black Pearl.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were very crowded.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I cannot say enough good things about the entertainment crew for the shows in the lounge. I've seen lesser quality shows in theaters! They were spectacular!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our housekeeper, Kannokorn, was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and happy to do anything we asked! The waiters in the pool Lido deck area are also great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always kept very clean, size was prefect for two people and very comfortable!

Ship tip

If you drink alcoholic beverages, the Cheers! package is definitely a must. Drinks get expensive, and even if just getting a few a day pay for it.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We got to port early so they started the disembarkation process early. Off the ship in a reasonable amount of time.

Traveler Photos

Always a cute towel animal after housekeeping visits!

I just found it disrespectful the way they were doing it.

Wow. I am from NY and lost a few people. I would be honored to have my picture taken with someone dressed like a flag AND I would have bought it.

We happened to have been on a cruise on 9/11. While leaving the ship they had a woman dressed like an American flag and another dressed like an eagle. Now i realize they like to do that, but I refused to get a picture taken with them. They had just had a small moment before to honor those killed on that day. Maybe it was because we are from NY and know people who were murdered that day and watched all that went on that day, I'm sure more closely than other parts of the county. But my point is that I found it really disrespectful for them to be taking pictures with someone dressed like a flag and trying to profit from that day. OK, rant and vent over.

I think more than 75% of us agree with you about the photographers at ports. BUT, a percentage do like them, AND buy their pictures, so I see them remaining. And honestly, who does not secretly want their picture taken with a real life pirate!!!
