Review summary
This was our first cruise with Carnival after having done several cruises with Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. We were skeptical at the beginning due to what we had heard in terms of food and party ships. We were positively surprised! The Splendor is a beautiful ship - not to big, but big enough to offer Great entertainment. Our suite was spacious and kept very clean, super bathroom. We were most impressed with the amount of live Musik in the evenings, we love to dance and had plenty of opportunity and variety. The food was mainstream, similar to Royal and Nowegian, less quality than Celebrety. But, as in most cruises we did the Chef table and this time we experienced one of the best we ever had, just outstanding. The pool was smal and too crowded. The overall service was friendly and good, the dining room attention depended on the individuals serving and we had good and bad. The night shows were good but not excellent.
