Review summary

Alaska is beautiful. The cruise crew was wonderful. The food was horrible. The ship needs a lot of updating.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. The food however was far below par on most days.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I participated in Bingo, Scavenger hunt, spa, comedy club, and the shows. They were all fun and worth my time.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The stage shows were great.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is too old and could use some major remodeling. It was however clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
The room was not worth the $ I spent for it. There was chipped tile in the bathroom. Stained wood floor in the entrance. Damaged couch.

Ship tip

Try to travel on a different ship. This one is disappointing on many levels.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
We spent a few days upon our return exploring Seattle on our own and it was great.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

5 out of 5
This was very beautiful. We saw everything from the cruise ship and did not need to book the one and only excursion.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
This was a really cute and quaint port with plenty of time to explore and shop after our excursion to a brothel.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
I really enjoyed this stop. Juneau is beautiful. There was a lot to do. We booked an excursion on our own and that was great. The time at this stop could have been a bit longer. We didn't get to do as much as desired.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Another cute and quaint area. We did an excursion but that was about all we could do. The time allotted there was ridiculously short. It was almost not even worth it.

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
This was truly an absurd stop. There wasn't anything to do at the port so everyone was forced to pay $15 per person, (round trip) to the downtown area. We were only at this stop for 3 hours in the late evening when most establishments were closing I don't understand why we did not arrive at this port earlier in the day so we could spend more time there and possibly enjoy an excursion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great staff, easy process, and wonderful system.
