Review summary

We had such a wonderful and relaxing cruise. The scenery and whale watching right from our balcony was pretty special. The waters were a little choppy on sea day, so having motion sickness solutions along was helpful. There were quite a few people getting sick, although we did not. Take your vitamins and get lots of fresh air!!

We enjoyed most of the food...if we didn't like it, there was always pizza 🙂. The main dining room experience was good but it doesn't feel like they try too hard to go above and beyond anymore.

Great hot tubs, pools, scavenger hunts, trivia, and so much wonderful live music!

We enjoyed the nightly shows, the DJ's and the comedians very much.

We only utilized Camp Ocean for our 11 year old, but he had fun. Our teen wished Club O2 was open more often to just hang out, instead of having scheduled activities. Those didn't appeal to him.

Very clean. It took us a little while to figure out how it was laid out, but we did eventually. Lots of helpful maps by the elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were very comfortable with 4 people in our room. The balcony is beautiful, and once we unpacked everything into the drawers and closets, we could tuck the suitcases under the beds.

Ship tip

We didn't bring clothes for elegant night and still felt comfortable dining those nights. But there are 2 elegant nights if you have would enjoy that! Also, we did not expect such a larger section where smoking is allowed on the sundeck. We avoided that area when possible.

Good review, thanks. Our next cruise is on the Spirit (out of Mobile) and it will be our first time to have 2 youngsters with us. so it's great to read that it's comfortable for 4, very helpful... cheers!

Appreciate your detailed and informative review. Interesting that some reviews indicate O2 is not structured enough and your teen felt it’s too structured. As an outsider, I can see both things at the same time.🧐 Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
