Review summary

Enjoyed the cruise very much. Only had 4 ports, so there were a lot of sea days. Very relaxing. I read a couple of books and really enjoyed the weather until we left Cabo. Older guests than on most cruises. Only had 22 kids under the age of 18, so very quiet.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very busy port. Organized, but very congested.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Everything was fine. Super staff.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty of games and events daily. Weather was bad latter half of cruise, but they closed the retractable sun roof to make the pool area comfortable.

5 out of 5
Outstanding fun team. They performed well always.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
No problems.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of room for two.

Ship tip

Check the weather before sailing. We were not prepared for the bad weather once we got into the Pacific. Ship's store sold a lot of hoodies and sweats.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5

Santa Marta, Colombia

2 out of 5
No excursion. Port was more of a commercial port for cargo ships.

Seattle, Washington

3 out of 5
Took Carnival Bus Shuttle from port to airport. Not much to see along the way. Got to the airport about 12 hours before the flight. Could not check in until 4 hours prior to flight and no place to relax until going through security. Only 2 flights per day going to the east coast. Recommend touring Seattle prior to going to the airport. Rent a private vehicle for touring so that you can keep your luggage with you.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Wonderful area, enjoyed this resort. Great views of the Arches from the ship.

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5
Super. Very educational.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
Took a local excursion. Very educational.

Cartagena, Colombia

2 out of 5
No excursions. Port was more of a commercial port for cargo ships. Did enjoy the Eko sanctuary.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Smooth, but bus drivers in Seattle were surprised that we had so many passengers on the ship.

Was also on that cruise. I really enjoyed meeting the very friendly Captain and he took us up to the Bridge. Meet some nice people too.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Glad you enjoyed your Canal transit. Weather is so unpredictable. We alway TRY to bring clothes with the thought that it’s going to be closer than we expect, hotter than we expect and we are going to get wet. 🤭
