Poor communication before the cruise about WiFi and how to communicate with each other, let alone the outside world. The Carnival App. needs some updating. Loved how it helped you stay informed of events and activities, but the items it didn't have were things like previous dinner reservations. We had to triple check our Steakhouse reservations with Guest Services.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Leading up to embarkation was a nightmare. Filling out the paperwork was a joke. Downloading the ArriveCan and Verifly app and filling out the information on the apps was extremely stressful. Finding a covid test that fit within the ship's criteria was interesting/difficult. Flew from Reno to Seattle not knowing the results of our test. Not the ship's fault, but still a part of the embarkation experience. Found out that we were negative 12 hours before embarkation. Filled out the last minute information for Verifly and ArriveCan (Joke). Would not sail again until the covid restrictions are lifted. Oh bye the way, Canada was not worth the paperwork hassle. 8pm to 11:30pm. Nothing to see.

Ship tip
Check on WiFi. We bought the $5 "Chat" plan, which was supposed to allow your group to communicate throughout the trip. It was horrible. Worked 30% of the time. We contacted our cell providers before the trip and it was very confusing to decide what international plan to go with. Unless you are ok with paying the ship $60 a day for unlimited data, plan on being off the grid during your trip.
Took the train up White's Pass and had a great time. Our group had 5 in it and I suggest sitting across from each other. That way, anyone who's affraid of heights can switch with someone on the way back. Definitely not for someone that doesn't like heights.
