Overall, the cruise was good. Our daughter had a great time at Camp Ocean. The food was mediocre at best!! Davids Steakhouse was a huge disappointment!! We couldn't even cut our filet Mignon with a steak knife!!! The breadsticks were the best part of the meal. The entertainment was average. We didn't go to any of the shows on this cruise. The glow party was very fun!! It had an 80's theme. These cruises are what you make of it, we are a glass full kind of family, so there were definitely positives that came from this one. Now onto February 2023 for our next cruise!!!

Dj Grinnzz was good. Rest of the entertainment was definitely lacking. No one really stood out.
Children's Programs

Camp Ocean was great. This was the first time our 10 yr old daughter really immersed herself into it. She kept wanting to go back for more. She met alot of NEW friends on this trip. Left us feeling like "empty nesters".
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
MDR staff and Room Steward did their jobs with a smile. Very firendly!!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship is older, could definitely be updated and maintained better. Other than that, the ship was clean. You could always see staff cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room was good. Definitely could be bigger though. With three people it always seemed like someone was in the way.
We flew in a couple days early. We did an excursion with FUN 2 DIVE. It was swimming with the manatees in crystal River. It was very cool!!! Water was super clear. We had on wetsuits, so the water was fine. Great time I would highly recommend!!!
Port was good. Shop right off the ship if you like that. We did the Mayan Ball Game excursion. Pablo our guide was great. This excursion definitely gave us some background on the Mayan culture. While there, we also did some tequila, chocolate and tamale tasting. There was a small buffet at the end with some traditional mayan folk dancing.
We went on the small group Mayan ruins excursion. Definitely alot of walking / hiking. Was very informative. Unbelievable how these were built. Very interesting, if you're into cultural history.
We did the swim with Sharks, sting rays and barrier reef. What a great excursion!!! The nurse sharks were awesome. First time swimming with sharks and it didn't disappoint!! My daughter was a little hesitant at first, but after she got in she loved it.
Did an excursion outside of carnival. We went on an ATV, sloth holding, chocolate factory and rum cake tasting excursion through "LETS SEE ROATAN". It was raining when we took off on the ATV's. We got soaked. We drove on the main roads (so if you're expecting a jungle / off road ride this isn't for you). It was a little sketchy at first. But as wekept going it got better and better. Our guide Jamal was great. We rode the ATV's to each stop. It was definitely cool riding through the small towns. I would definitely recommend!!
