Review summary

It's my 3rd cruise with carnival. I asked what benefits I had from my "red" card instead of the blue (first time cruiser) and they said "you get a free bottle of water" I had to laugh. This is ridiculous. For the 3rd cruise you'd think I could get at least a free cocktail. Guy at the Guest services looked me up and down and was overall very condescending. Otherwise great cruise and generally good food at the buffet and MDR. Wish they had heathier choices though.

Everything was good although the curtains had holes and some paint was peeling.

Ship tip

If you want quiet go to the sun lounge on the forward deck with yellow decorations. Also get a free sudoku every day at the salon nearby (where they sell cupcakes and hav a piano)

Appreciate your feedback. If you really want to know what “perks” are available on Carnival: go to the home page, click on manage, click VIFP and look up the number of days you have wit corresponding level. Be proactive!

To: willwork4cruz, Actually on RCCL once you reach Diamond you get 4 free drinks a day. Diamond Plus gets 5 free drinks a day and Pinnacle gets 6. Carnival has nothing like that. So some cruise lines do give you a lot for being loyal. But you do have to cruise 80 days total to reach Diamond. Suites are double per day. We are Gold on Carnival and get to go to one cocktail party per cruise along with our free bottle of water. 🤣

Ha ha, yes don't cruise for the loyalty benefits, all cruise line benefits are pretty minimal.
