I love Carnival but this cruise director was one of my least favorite. Only saw him twice during the trip. The entertainment was lacking accept for the Comedy Club, specifically A - train & the Pip (can't remember his name).

Review summary

We are loyal Carnival cruisers! We will continue to cruise as many years as allowed. I just wished the entertainment on this ship and the cruise director was better.

We really liked our Jan 2022 Pride cruise, except for the CD.

He didn’t say he didn’t enjoy his experience. He said he was disappointed in the shows. This is a fair criticism. Our last cruise on a different ship was the same.

I didn't like my experience on the Pride either, but for different reasons.

Appreciate your feedback. Having several Carnival cruises behind you, gives you a a baseline of expectations. When those aren’t met it is important to share!

When we recently sailed Pride, the CD was very quiet all week. Personally we liked that. If you’ve ever had Dr. E as a CD, you know EXACTLY what I mean. Personal choice of course, but I don’t want to hear from the CD a dozen times a day.

I agree with that poster, I do not cruise Carnival for the music and shows. And only the bigger and newer ships for the food and a kick back and relax time.
