Review summary

This was our first cruise and we loved it!!!! It was like being in a city but on water. We loved being able to go to shows, being able to eat whenever it was good for us and eating whatever we wanted. The weather could have been better, but the ship and the crew made it FUN!!!!!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
When arriving to the port, it was not clear as where to go, so we followed others and unloaded our luggage however, if we had known, we could have unloaded all the luggage at the long term parking area. Other than that, everything went well.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Buffets were very nice but could have stayed open a little longer and not enough places open after midnight (just pizza). Did not like that we could not use our drink package on the islands.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were good, hot tub were good fitness areas were great, Lots of trivia to play. The only thing negative was the Casino (too much smoke). Did not like even going through the casino to get to the other part of the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
OMG!!!!! Love Brandon, the cruise director and Randy Andy, the cruise entertainment manager. They really know how to entertain and put on a show. We saw every show and sometimes twice. My favorite part of the cruise!!!!!

Children's Programs

We did not have any children travelling with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Rosario, our room steward was excellent. Always there for us and answered all our questions. Darell (BooBoo) waiter in main dining room was just awesome. He was so attentive to us and took time out to talk with us. Ceclia, Amie, Mary and all the Atrium Bartenders were great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Being that this was our first cruise, we don't have anything to compare it too, but I thought the ship was excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.

Ship tip

Try to see all the shows you can and enjoy being disconnected from the social media world and meet in person and talk to real people from all over the world.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
Very easy to access, just need to be clearer on where to take luggage if you going into long term parking. Did not do any excursions.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Very Beautiful Island, did not enjoy the seaweed in the water. Enjoyed the shops. Did not do excursion

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

4 out of 5
The water was much better here. Could not understand why we couldn't use the drink package here but they could charge the card. This does not make sense, unless they just wanted to make more money.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Not as nice as others, but people very friendly and music awesome.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized and it was great seeing some of the crew when leaving.
