Review summary

It was a fantastic family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the ship, the ports and the staff who took great care of us! From the cruise director, Saffie, to our stateroom attendant to the ease of getting things we needed and just plain relaxing, it was great!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was pretty easy and quick!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Definitely enjoyed the pools, shows, games, etc.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows were good, but I didn't go to many because we wanted to do other stuff.

Children's Programs

Our kids didn't spend any if much at all time in the kids clubs because they found much other things to do on the ship. They were 12, 16 and 18 so they had plenty to do!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was WONDERFUL! Our cabin steward took GREAT care of us and was very pleasant and courteous.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was overall pretty clean except for most of the trip over on the pool deck, by the tequila bar, it was closed off for construction. Then by the rum bar, same deck, there was a nasty smell that didn't go away. Otherwise - it was very clean and nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was a GREAT size for four of us. The pull down bed for my youngest was great, she loved it! Our cabin steward was great with providing clean towels, etc.

Ship tip

I enjoyed every part of our cruise. I love cruising and knew our kids would have a blast on this ship!

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
We always love to cruise out of Baltimore. Very easy and close to the Inner Harbor, which we took a train in to have dinner and shop. Then the hotel we stayed at was nice, but it was a super big hassle getting the shuttle to bring us to the cruise port. BUT we did get there just fine.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
Overall, our FAVORITE port on this cruise. We loved the dogs roaming the beach, of course then we visited the infamous Topher the dog down by Jack's Shack and just enjoyed swimming right there. Then we walked over to Margaritaville and swam there and had a light snack and did some shopping. Was a beautiful place!

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
This port was another favorite. VERY beautiful water, sand, beach, EVERYTHING! We just stayed on the beach the entire time. We actually stumbled upon an empty clam shell thing which was seemingly broken so thats why others didn't use it but we got ahold of a worker and they set it up for us! Great timing! Then we had the lunch on the island. Only downfall was that you weren't able to use your drink package on the island, which was sad because on our cruise with Royal Caribbean you were able to do that.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Freeport was great, didn't get to see much since we weren't there long at all. Just enough to get off ship and go to our snorkeling excursion and then maybe 15 minutes of speed shopping and back on the ship!

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
This was good. We just had to wait FOREVER because everyone seemingly used the "carry off" option of carrying their own luggage off.
