Had a wonderful time! Enjoyed being on the boat, as well as spending time in the ports.

Review summary

Overall great family trip. Loved all the activies for kids and life on the boat relaxing. Also, good experience in port but very limited so more like a beach day (didn't get to know much about the country). Excellent service but didn't like that they automatically added that much gratuity to bill. We paid the recommended amount for the adults but not the small children.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food in the buffet was pretty good and there were lots of choices! I didn't think the food in the restaurants were high quality but the atmosphere was great and I liked the choices. We loved the servers Awon (spelling?) and Aries . We weren't able to get a table with them some of the time and did not have good service in the other section we were put in.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Great choices and lots of them! Loved the deck parties, shows, and movies!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved the DJ at night and music during the day. Also, thought the shows were wonderful!

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
It was great to have camp ocean but my kids didn't love going. It was similiar to child care at home and they wanted to be doing some of the special things on the boat. If it's possible to take them on field trips on the boat I think they would like that more!

Service and Staff

Beautiful and huge.

Cabin / Stateroom

While the cabin was small - it was sufficent. We loved Dwi our cabin steward. He was so friendly and helpful. We asked him to help us with a few things, like getting ice and he went above and beyond (put ice in our room every day after asking him for it once). Our room was a mess ( 2 small kids) and he did an excellent job cleaning it and at the time that was best for us. He also always made an adorable animal out of the towels which my daughter loved.

Close to ship and there was shade available which was great. There was a lot of seaweed otherwise water was lovely.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We went to a family friendly beach which was great. There was a trampoline and slide in the water which kids loved. The food was just okay.

Disembarkation

Lots of lines but to be expected. Nothing out of the ordinary.
