Review summary

This was our first cruise, but we had heard stories from other cruisers. I believe we had a good experience and we will definitely be going on another one.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The line was long but moved along pretty good.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There was no chance of going hungry or thirsty. There was always something to your liking.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
If you couldn't find something to do, then it was your own fault. So many choices for so many ages.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We only went to one comedy show and one musical. Both were very good.

Children's Programs

We did not bring any children with us. But it appeared like there were a lot for children to do.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We could not have asked for better service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Even though this was an older ship, everything was very clean. The layout was easy to follow and quick to memorize.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin itself was very clean and there was enough space for both of us to feel comfortable. The only "complaint" was that we had an obstructed view. But we knew that when we selected the cabin. One of the lifeboats was just below our balcony.

Ship tip

Make sure that whatever you buy from the duty free areas is also duty free when you get back home. Our items were a little over the dollar limit allowed limit and we had to pay a bit. But the customs people were very nice and accommodating.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

We only used this a a drop off point. We've been to Baltimore before.

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
We shopped and hit the beach here. Very pretty.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
If this what "all inclusive" is, sign me up!. The beach was great and the food was great. It was a little hike from the beach to the food area, but is was a beautiful day.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
We had visited Freeport a couple of times so we did not choose an excursion. We shopped and returned to the ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Uneventful. Very easy.
