Review summary

The best experience with my wonderful family. We all had such a great time. We are already planning another cruise for either 2018 or 2019 on the Carnival Miracle. By the way, our other 2 cruises were with Carnival also. We don't plan to ever cruise with another line.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was amazing and the variety of choices outstanding! I'm missing the meals even as I write this.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
pools, fitness center and my favorite was running on the upper deck first thing in the morning.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 shows presented by the 8 talented entertainers on board. Also enjoyed the bingo and towel folding and any presentation hosted by SAFFIE!!!! She was the best. Also Richie Rich!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
5 star to be sure. Rory our room steward was top notch and honored our every request. Our wait staff of Adrian Escaro and Jobart made the trip for us. We miss them terribly. By the trip's end we had made two wonderful friends. Our family always discusses our trips after the fact and each member names their 3 favorite things about the trip. All nine of us mentioned Adrian and Jobart as one of our 3 favorite things. Our family took a picture with them and it will be this year's Christmas card photo!!!

Ship tip

Be prepared for an amazing experience and be prepared for major withdrawal symptoms afterwards.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

spent a few days in Washington prior to the trip instead.

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
It was ok. Went to the beach and shops right off the ship. The day was a little wishy washy so maybe that affected my perception.Snorkeling was good.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

I loved it!!!!! I didn't want to leave. It was beautiful and so great to be able to eat lunch there. We also ran into our two favorites from the wait staff, Adrian Escaro and Jobart.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

The beach excursion was very, very nice. The people were very nice and treated us very well.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Rated this a 3 star. The system put into effect theoretically should work fairly smooth, however there are so many people who don't read the hand outs or go to the presentations or watch the tv. My complaint is with the many passengers who didn't seem to have a clue.
