Review summary

Amazing!!! Beautiful!!! Nearly perfect!!! Having our wedding and a bigger group of people made it extra special. Someone suggested we go back for every wedding anniversary. I'm not sure we can manage that. We have other traveling we want to do, but perhaps every 5 years. 😊

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was worried I would have to stand in the sun for a long time. Our wait time was actually very short. Other members of our party had priority check in. Since we had shuttle service from our hotel, our shuttle skipped all of the cars waiting in line. We actually got on the ship faster than some of those with priority who drove their own vehicles.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Amazing!!! I wasn't sure we'd go to the main dining room every night. We did and we loved it. We had a group of 19, with 3 tables in the dining room. Since it was our wedding, my husband and I switched tables each night to spend time with everyone in our group. The wait staff were amazing at each table. We never made it to a speciality restaurant, but others said they were worth it. The buffets were delicious! They rarely had the same foods from day to day. So if you find a dish you really like, they may not serve it again.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I loved the trivia games, comedy shows, and the casino. Mostly, we enjoyed spending time with family members and friends. We have a pool at home, so we didn't swim. Other members of our party swam everyday. Others members loved the gym and running track.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the comedians! The cruise director, Staffie was energetic and entertaining. We loved her sing and dance alongs. We also went to the piano bar two nights. We loved the piano player and the atmosphere. We loved the wait staff singing and dancing in the main dining room. Wilson was our favorite performer...He is an incredible person. 💕

Children's Programs

My nephews loved the teen club. They were always running around or messaging their new friends they met onboard. We didn't have any small children in our group.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Amazing!!! The entire crew works so hard to make you feel like royalty. Our wedding coordinator, Alina Rybak, who is also a hostess in the dining room, is incredible!!!! She took care of all of our onboard wedding needs. Our wedding was perfect!!! Alina is a true sweetheart who is amazing at her job!!! My husband and I also made a special connection with Wilson R Sy. He was a server and entertainer at my sister's table. We love him!!! The man who ran the dinning room was very personable and incredible as well. I Wayan, our room steward was wonderful too. The girl in the salon who did my hair and makeup for our wedding was also excellent. We couldn't get over how quickly everyone knew our names and was accommodating to us. They all seemed to work so hard and to be be so happy!! We are truly wondering if any of them get time to sleep. They honestly do make you feel special and we truly appreciate all that the staff did for us.

Ship Quality

We loved the layout of the ship. The common areas were beautiful. Again, the staff worked incredibly hard, around the clock, to keep the ship clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice. Our room steward usually cleaned it twice a day. We weren't in our room much. Other people in our party had suites. I think the next time we will get a suite to have extra balcony and inside space. I usually judge hotels by cleanliness and the showers. Our cabin, sheets, and towels were very clean. The shower had wonderful water pressure and it got and stayed extremely hot, which is perfect.

Ship tip

Enjoy every minute of it. The week is over before you realize it.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

We stayed overnight at the Best Western BWI. They have an excellent shuttle service. I've been to the inner harbor 3 times prior and loved it.

Grand Turk Island

Amazing!!! We highly recommend the Reefs and Rays excursion!!! You get to swim on a private beach, snorkel in an amazing coral reef, and touch sting rays on a separate private island. Words cannot describe how incredible the entire day was. The shops had beautiful items too.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

We didn't do an excursion. The water was gorgeous.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island Did not visit port

We got married on the ship at this port. The views from the ship were beautiful. If we take this cruise again, I think we would do the swimming with dolphins excursion. Some people in our party were able to get off the ship for a little bit before the wedding. They loved the gift shops.

Disembarkation

Since we didn't have priority status, we had to wait a while. We weren't in a big hurry, so it wasn't a big deal. We relaxed on a couch in the piano bar. The people who had priority status in our group disembarked much faster. If you get a suite cabin, you get priority status. Getting through customs and picking up our luggage was incredibly quick. I wasn't sure how long it would take. I should have called the hotel shuttle service as soon as we exited the ship. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the shuttle.

Hey, cool! I got married on Pride too. October 30th 2016 to be exact. Weren't their wedding planners great? So easy. Fill out a packet, mail it, they handle the rest. They let us add our own touch to things as well, which was cool. We got married in the Chapel, had the reception in the dining hall, and then went on a seven day cruise. And you are correct, their photographers are some of the best available. Nicholas was ours. A bit pricey, but I expected that. Plus it was worth it for the big blown up canvases. Coming up on our anniversary. Probably won't do a cruise. I'm saving that for her birthday, lol
