Review summary

It is hard to pick a favorite part about the cruise, we loved everything about it. There were so many activities on board that we were never bored. We loved having the Carnival Hub App, it was so great having access to on the on board fun right at our fingertips. All of the ports were amazing and the excursion was awesome. All the staff were friendly and were willing to help your needs any way that they could. They definitely treated you like family which made you feel apart of the whole cruise. Our only suggestion for the Carnival Pride would be that there would be no smoking up by the Apollo Pool. Many people walk by there and swimming and all you smell is cigarette smoke and it can get pretty strong there. We never swam at the Apollo Pool but only swam by the Dive In Pool due to the smoking going on there. If they could eliminate this, I'm sure many people would appreciate it. Other than that we have no complaints. We are definitely planning another Cruise in the future.

AMAZING!! Alfredo, John, and Alan were always willing to get us what we needed and were very attentive to us. Always friendly in asking us about our day and anything that they could do to make our stay better.

Ship Quality

Very clean. Wait staff did an excellent job in trying to pick up empty plates around the pool, tables, and hallways as fast as they possibly could to keep the ship looking neat and clean. Design was amazing very much detailed work.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the cabin very neat and clean and every time we came back to the room, it was clean and bed was made when we were only gone for a half hour. The room was quite spacious for being on a ship.

Ship tip

Make sure to take plenty of sunscreen cause you will get burnt also make sure to take a power strip since they only have one outlet in the room. Balcony is a must just having access to the ocean right out side your room was amazing.

We rented the Electric Hummer Tours. This tour was sooo much and very informative. They let you get out on a beach away from everyone and swim and lay out on the beach. Stopped at many destinations that we could get out and sight see for awhile.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

All we did was lay on the beach and was perfectly ok with this! Beaches were gorgeous and clean plus shops and places to explore. Carnival also fed you lunch which was nice so you did not have to pay out of pocket.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

This was a very industrialized port. We did the dolphin close encounter and loved it!! This was our highlight of the whole trip. There was much time here at the port so after the excursion we only had a half hour before we had to board the boat again. Book an excursion if you go here since there is no beaches right off the boat. A Taxi will be needed to get to the beaches.
