Review summary

There are a few things that stand out about our cruise.  The first is the wonderful portrait that was taken of my husband and I by Ivana, one of the ship's photographers.  It is better than any of our wedding photos (shhhh...don't my wedding photographer. lol)! The second is that Carnival does care about the well being of their guests.  Unfortunately, one of our excursions had to be canceled due to rough waters at our last port.  I imagine that was quite a financial loss for Carnival.  I was happy to see them put our safety ahead of profit for that day.  My only negative is that the Carnival Pride is an older ship and is in need of some repairs and cosmetic improvements.

This older ship could use a facelift and some repairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was roomy and the shower, although they are all small, wasn't too confining. Our housekeeping staff was excellent!
