Review summary

This was our second Carnival Cruise and the first on the Pride. Overall, very satisfied with the ship and staff. Trip was from Baltimore with stops at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport. The Baltimore port was extremely easy to get in and out (drove POV). Pride is not a large ship, but plenty large. Cruise Director was very good.

All was very good. The one comment I have that is other than extremely satisfied is with the Chinese Buffet (chop sticks?). We did not like it. It does not meet there otherwise high standards. I think it would be great if they can bring in a company like Panda Express and keep the menu standard. I do see they changed the menu daily and try to be unique. A standard choice on top of this would have been nice.

It was clean and like it is pictured on line. I would caution anyone that gets in this area that it is very close to the Butterfly lounge (comedy club). Though it did not wake us when the late shows ended, You could definitely hear people as they entered and exited. You can even hear the comedian when they get loud. This could be an issue if you have kids and not want them to hear the explicit content! Otherwise, the location near the stairs and elevator was nice.

Ship tip

Larger stateroom than the comparable room on the Ecstasy. Lots of shelf space in bathroom. Refrigerator was a nice surprise (also something that we did not have on the Ecstasy.

HI I can't wait to get on the pride only 15 days away!########!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so has anyone said out of Baltimore in NOV. I'll be leaving then anything I should know about it before. I'll be driving from nj. any pointers on what to expect?
