Memorable experience

Sail Date: December 30, 2007

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

The ship was beautifully decorated and the layout was easy to enjoy and also easy to escape into comfortable corners for a great book.

Pros: Wonderful environment for relaxation

Cons: My daughter's cabin

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Although our suite was very nice, my daughter's 6A category room was next to the engine room on level 1. When I made the reservation I thought I booked a cabin on level 5 with us, but apparently it was only guaranteed to be the same category room. The cruis was meant to be a setting for her engagement, I was disappointed
Service and Staff
The new auto tip set up seemed to impact the quality of service
Ship Quality
Some of the furniture was getting a little worn
Food and Dining
The David's Supper Club was superb
Entertainment
Great shows and a mulititude of nice activities
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
The tour of San Sebatian was very nice and the tour guide was very knowledgeable
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
The rhino jeep tour was a hoot! Saw some whales off the coast
Mazatlan, Mexico
