Review summary

The room was great. The only problem was that we had one of those adjoining rooms...the kind with a door separating us from our neighbors and they were very loud. I did not like this conisdering my 5 year old should not have to have an audio tour of the birds and bees in action. Food was good, lots of buffets with good food. Friendly employees, except in the spa. In the exercise room, there was no ventilation. You can use a machine for as long as you want. If you are the person waiting, wait away, there is no sign up sheet. Machines that are broken will remain broken for the duration of your cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Really good food. I ordered the steak to see if it tasted like a board like previously blogged about, but it was good. Lobster, Duck, Quail and a spa menu...lots of variety.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Did not attend shows. Saw some of the demonstrations and stuff. Nothing to write home about.

Children's Programs

Lots of break times. You can only go for 6 hours, which is understandable, but that 6 hours is broken up in weird chunks so the staff can clean. Like it's open from 9 AM - 11.45AM. You need to get there early to get your child out by 11.45 or you will be charged extra. So if the line is long, tough luck. The topics were good overall, they had a lot of movies and arts and crafts. Good overall, just really unnecessary worry about making it back at specific times.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our steward knew our names in a matter of minutes. Our wait staff knew what we wanted and had it set at the table before we got there.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Clean and constantly being cleaned. By the end of the cruise, you noticed that some spots were worn, but it took awhile to find it.

Cabin / Stateroom

Would rate my balcony room better, but sex fiends next door ruined it. Any noise in the adjacent room could be heard, like shutting door, talking, tv. Also found hairs in my bed on first day. My son had a bloody nose and only some sheets were changed.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Went to cabo dolphins. Really pretty. Show up early and you can eat the last tour's food for free.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

3 out of 5
Went on a canopy tour not booked through cruise. Good, really fun, just make sure you make the bus on time or they will leave without you. On the way back, you have to wait for everyone to eat before they will leave.

Mazatlan, Mexico

3 out of 5
Went to Playa Mazatlan. Funny, the cruise had a similar tour for a lot more, we just took a taxi. Bring your cruise towel and it's like a golden ticket to go wherever you want without getting hassled.

Pros: Size of Room, Quantity/Quality of Food, Friendly Employees

Cons: Adjoining Room was Loud, Last Night Really Rocky
