Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

this was our first cruise and we saved it for our honeymoon. at first glance the ship was in immaculate condition and the service was impeccable. later we noticed a few items that were worn but not dangerous and in the middle of the week room service seemed to slack (3 hrs to get dinner?). overall it was a very enjoyable time and would travel on carnival again.

Pros: room size

Cons: drinks $$$

Recommends Carnival Pride? Yes!

Ship Quality
perfect size for first time cruisers. not too much to get lost.
Food and Dining
don't know why open lunch started at 12:30 but its ok
Cabin / Stateroom
lots of storage and a hugh balcony. better than expected
Service and Staff
our cabin steward (sp?) was perfect and deserved the extra tip we gave him.
Mazatlan, Mexico
ended up listening to a timeshare presentation but got free lunch and drinks out of it.
Don't Miss: cliff diving near dolphin memorial. go with a group. if you go alone the diver will charge you more (yes you have to pay to see him jump)
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
take a water taxi to lovers beach and get some sun on the less inhabited west shore.
Don't Miss: lovers beach
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
we did the extreme canopy excursion and would reccommend it to any one
Don't Miss: extreme canopy
