If you don't feel like spending a lot on excursions, it is very simple to catch a cab to 7 mile beach or one of the beach clubs on Cozumel.

Be ready for a picture at every turn and a huge charge for them as well. If your not going to buy the pictures ask them not to take them. I saw thousands of pictures being thrown away because they weren't purchased.

remember to allow extra money to tip your staff.. $12 per day per passenger.. my friend got in a jam and didn't budget.. they said she couldn't leave the ship.. good thing she was traveling with friends.
