Review summary

The cruise itself was smooth, stress free, and had a lot of amenities. The staff were the best part. The entertainment could be improved as well as the activities on the ship. Many activities were more of a cash grab which was disappointing. We did enjoy the game shows, they were fun! My daughter loved the teen club but unfortunately there was not much for my 18 year old son. He spent most of the time with me. Although he did like the yellow slide.

Onboard Activities

I did not use the facilities but my son and cousin enjoyed the slides and pool. The gym was very nice and clean.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some of the comedians were funny, the shows were not that entertaining, the DJs and musicians were excellent.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
My daughter loved the teen club and made so many friends and I basically didn't see my cousin because she was always having so much fun in the kids club

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This cruise has the most amazing, friendly, and helpful staff! From beginning to end, always professional and courteous. Tup notch!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean ship and always maintained. Design is a bit gaudy but that is to be somewhat expected.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Was pleasantly surprised at the roominess of the cabin. Lots of storage space and very clean!

Ship tip

If you take a non reservation dining option, be sure to book your dinner as early as possible. If not, the wait can be up to an hour.

Always love SF

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We os whale watching and it was the best experience of the whole cruise for me.

Skagway, Alaska

Loved the town and we did the Whitehall pass train excursion. The sights were unreal.

Juneau, Alaska

Loved the town. We did not book an excursion. We took the city bus ($2 a person) and hiked to the mendenhall glacier and Nugget falls. It was a lovely 70 degree day. It is a long walk, so be prepared.

Cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska

4 out of 5
It was absolutely gorgeous. If I can do again I probably would book the excursion to get closer to the glaciers.

Ketchikan, Alaska

3 out of 5
Was disappointed. There was not much going on in this town. We did see the salmon run which was cool but if I did it again I would have booked an excursion to see the bears.

Prince Rupert, British Columbia

We hiked a bit and saw some sea lions but there wasn't much to the town.

Thanks for sharing. We had the same issue with our 18 year old. I I could add something to cruising would be adding a club for the 18 to 20 year olds to hangout.
