We really only went to fly out and really see the glaciers. So we did what we wanted on the first stop. After that it was pretty much just waiting to go home. We saw whales, otters, eagles, but you can get closer to those animals at Seaworld or the local zoo.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Carnival was over an hour behind schedule on appointment arrival times.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Of all the cruise lines, Carnival has the least impressive food offerings.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Due to windy conditions the waterslide was often down, but Carnival offers the most onboard activities. Unfortunately the ship is kind of small so the activities were always running out of seats.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Carnival is the best for shows.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
The kids loved going to camp each day.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Except for one rude "fun squad" member, everyone was really great.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship was always clean (and being cleaned) but it was too small.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The room was fine and always clean. The only complaint was the shower. Too small.
