Review summary

Very much enjoyed this cruise.  We had cruised on the Carnival Spirit,(sister ship to the Miracle), so it was familiar.  The embarkation at the port of Long Beach was extremely unorganized and difficult for those passengers who were Special Needs, but once on the ship, we had a good time.  Wonderful stateroom (cat. 9B, Premium Balcony), quiet, spacious, great veranda.  Dining was also very good - variety, taste, temperature, and friendly staff.  Entertainment wasn't as good as the last time we sailed with Carnival - only 3 production shows in 13 days, and no show band.

There was a violin duo that we did enjoy many evenings.  One of us was using a motorized scooter, so we were not able to utilize any of the shore excursions.  Thankfully the disembarkation was extremely well organized.  There was just my husband & I on the cruise.

The embarkation was horrible, but we did stay in a great hotel with a shuttle & free parking - The Hotel Current. Port parking is $19 per day,

How long did it take to disembark? My husband is in a wheelchair & we need s shuttle to pick us up. Just wondering what time I should have it there.
