Get up early to get a seat by the pool and put something in the seats so you have it all day . Plus you have a seat for the movies at night.

The carnival hub app was good for seeing when & where everything was going on. Except the chat part of the app. It didn't work most of the time

Make sure you plan for at least 3 hours for dinner service on this ship, between waiting for a table to actually getting through the meal. Note that you have to show up to comedy shows an hour in advance to get tickets. If you like to schedule a busy day of on board experiences just make sure to add enough time to eat, as the lines will be long!!

Be prepared to wait a long time for your luggage to arrive to your room. Take advantage of the room service and make sure you wear shoes with good traction (I fell twice on the main deck and on the promenade) because the floors stay wet.

Do not book a room on the 6th floor towards the middle. Room over entertainment and extremely noisy at night.

Do not count on taking pictures through "pixels"; biggest scam ever. they charge 22$ a picture irrespective of number of pictures. I like Disney's offer of all-the-pics you want for one price. Carnival should do something like that.

You'll never be able to experience everything the ship offers. Don't wear yourself out scheduling every minute of your trip. Be sure to meet the cruise director - he was the highlight of our trip. Wish every Carnival ship had a Dr. E.

Better plan on eating at the WOK on port days. 20 minutes in line..only to hear the " lady?" in front of us,...pull out a piece of paper and read off her 6 orders to the chef.

There are a lot of places to explore on the ship. There was a handy pocket-sized card with the deck plans and where things were located. Keep that with you.
