I was on the magic back in 2016 and then now in 2023. It definitely had its issues both time. But the cruise director was terrible. Seemed like he didn't know what he was doing....

Getting off the ship was terrible. We got a letter the night before saying we can get off at 7am. Everyone went to one spot and then we were left to wait cause they let higher members off first. I got tired of waiting and just left...

We just got off an 8 day cruise on the Sunshine a couple weeks ago and it was a nearly perfect cruise. Great weather, great entertainment. Food was acceptable, not as good as it use to be. Cruise director was really same as all. Active and around the ship. We really don't pay much attention to who it is. They really never have made much difference in any cruise we took over the years.

I’m curious to know what it was the CD did or didn’t do to make you think they didn’t know how to do their job? While each CD has their own unique style, and I like some more than others, I have never met one who was totally inept.
