Review summary

Carnival Magic was more than what we expected. Staff was wonderful, food was delicious, plenty of activities. We had a great time and will be sailing with Carnival soon!

Common ship layout. Could have used a little more seating around the Magic Lobby. Ship was overall very clean. However, it did have an odor throughout the ship of musty (maybe carpets washed and never fully dried)

We were the only ship in this port. So it was like a ghost town (in a good way, it wasnt so crowded) after we got back from our City Tour Excursion. Our excursion was lovely. It was nice to be able to see the DR and the locals.

Beautiful city. They are still rebuilding after Hurricane Maria, so there were a handful of dilapidated buildings.

Grand Turk Island

I was very excited to visit this port, as I have heard many wonderful things about the crystal blue water. However, when we got to port, it was right after Hurricane Beryl passed. So the beach was full of seaweed. The ocean was littered with seaweed and lots of heavy rocks. Large holes on the ocean floor. It was just a very unpleasant stay.
