Very quick and easy. We arrived two hours early of our embarkation and was able to board early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Ate in main dining room all but one night. Food good. Was able to try new things and enjoyed them. Staff was great. Buffets were good as well. Not too many choices but satisfying. We ate at Cucina del Captaino our first night and had a delicious meal. I was disappointed that two of my favorites were missing from the menu since my last cruise, steak and tiramisu. Had the short ribs so now have a new favorite. Was not impressed with dessert choices. I had the biscotti. I didn't like it. Staff sang a song every hour. Was a good time. I didn't get to try The Pig & Anchor, Guys Burgers or Tandoor restaurants this sailing. Blue Iguana breakfast burritos are yummy and The Red Frog Rum Bar snacks are very good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Never made it in any of the pools or hot tubs as they were very crowded. Was concerning to see so many unsupervised children running about these areas.

Entertainment

We had a lot of fun watching the dance crew. They certainly got the crowds into having a great time. Musicians were very good and as well as the DJs.

Service and Staff

The waiters we had in the Southern Nights dining were the best. So much fun. They gave us good recommendations on food choices and had a lot of helpful advise and suggestions for the ports. Our room steward was very good. He introduced himself on our second day and asked what time we wanted our room tended too. All was perfect. I do miss the turn down service and bathrobes.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is huge. It was probably on our last day I had it figured out. The Hub App was helpful in getting around. The ship was clean and any mess was handled quickly.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Room was a bit smaller than I expected. I was comparing it to my last cruise. It was comfortable however. Bed soft and enough pillows. The AC worked well, so well I needed another blanket. The refrigerator wasn't that cold and was missing a shelf. The balcony was a good size but seemed dirty. No fault to the steward, just the exposure to the elements. The bathroom roomy enough with plenty of storage. Shower water pressure was very weak. Took forever to rinse shampoo from hair.

Ship tip

The elevators in the middle ship are faster!

Port Canaveral, Florida

Didn't do an excursion. But did spend time there. Visited the Space Museum and ate at Grills. We were lucky enough to be there one night to see a rocket go up!

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Very clean port. The pool was great. Zip lining was fun. Pool waterslide was closed. Skybar was nice to visit. Great views up there.

Wish we had more time. So pretty and lots to see and do. Skyride was good. Excellent views. Megan's beach was stunning. Very crowded.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We did a local tour. Not booked in ship. Was very informative. Our tour guide was a lot of fun. Took us all over and to different road side food spots to try local foods. Stopped at many landmarks, and beaches to take photos. Very good day there.
