Review summary

Again, I this has been my favorite cruise out of 5. My only complaint was the dining room staff. It was noticeable in the dining room for brunch and dinner. Also on the days for early breakfast. They were "annoyed" if you needed anything. Many times (not just once and not just one day) they forgot to bring things. Like courses of meals or coffee. Tea or water may take 10 to 15 min after you sit. We had to ask for condiments for Prime Rib, etc.... Again, they acted like we were in the "wrong" for needing them. Only complaint I have.

Room Steward was wonderful. The waiters in the dining room seemed annoyed at times to help and often forgot to bring things. We did anytime dining. I hear that comes with that. I honestly didn't let it annoy me at the time. I was just surprised by the behavior becasue it was not what I was used to on a cruise.

Brunch is always slow. Don't do it unless it's a Sea Day. Try to joke around and make friends with the waiters. Ask them where they're from. If all r OK see fails, complain and then eat on the Lido deck.

The last time on Magic we had the same problem with Brunch and breakfast the other days in the MDR. Staff was non attentive. One morning it took two trips to the desk and 45 minutes after we were served coffee to order. That was the only complaint we had for the cruise. You just sit back and go with the flow and things work out.

We had a similar experience on the first night in MDR, the next night we sat in another section, had a different wait staff and they were AMAZING. We then requested their section every night thereafter.

Just wondering as my first carnival cruise is in March 2019, did you complain about the service in the mdr while on board and they didn't fix it or was nothing said so they could fix the problem
