Eastern Caribbean is amazing and the ship was clean and fun but they could be more organized, nicer, and figure out how to lessen the wait time for just about everything. Felt like sardines in a can at some points. Teens were tossing stuff off the lobby balcony. Heaven forbid you have to go to guest services. Ugh.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Getting in and off this ship is a chore. Not enough details on where to go and it took forever. Parents are elderly and can’t do stairs much but getting help was not easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Dinner at restaurant was yummy but it took a long time to eat. Hated that the room service breakfast had no real protein options so you had to go to buffet, which always had a really slow long line.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Yumm but too overcrowded and took forever.
Entertainment

Massage was supposed to be 50 minutes. But it was closer to 35. At over 100 bucks I expect the full 50. They gave me a Do over so that was good. But they were going to put me with the same person who shorted me which would have just been awkward. Glad I caught it.
Children's Programs

2 yo had a good time at camp ocean and at puppet show but was not happy that there was no pool place for kids in swim diapers. Also, very limited food options for little kids other than pizza and chicken nuggets. She had fun overall.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
I went the night before and staff was standing about and not one of them talked to me. When I went to drop kid off the next morning it was like, what do you mean you haven’t registered. Ugh. But for the most part, she really enjoyed going there and seemed to have fun.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Yes. Pretty clean ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean room and lots of storage. Very few plugs and none near bed. Bring extension cord. Shower was surprisingly large for a ship. Balcony was beautiful. Room steward could have been nicer. Everything else in room was great.
Took forever. Did not go by numbers so what was the point even. You have to be out of room by 8 am only to sit around somewhere else for 2 hours with no water etc. very confusing process. Finally had some folks help us at the port and that made the rest easier.
cruised the Magic 11/4/2017 & the embarkation for me & my 2 sisters was smooth...only had one bad instance & that was with the male agent who put our carryons on the belt to be scanned...he paused then sneezed into his gloves then clapped his hands and rubbed them all over her luggage...she had hand sanitizer hanging on her purse so squeezed a gin & rubbed in her hands then rubbed her hands over her luggage...he was just nasty & I feel those agents working need to complete health questionnaire as well b/c they won’t let you sail if sick..all would have been fine if he had changed his gloves....I always carry Lysol & Lysol wipes in my carryon but when we cruise 11/24/2018, I will have a small travel size lysol, pkg of lysol wipes, & pkg of Purcell wipes for our in my purse to sanitize our luggage after handled by the security agents & porters...debarkation is always & issue because there’s no one nearby to make sure guests haven’t created a bottle neck around the Atrium elevators where guests whose zone numbers have been called & are trying to get off the ship...I am Platinum & by the time we were able to get an elevator & down to our meeting point, Platinum guests were already being escorted of the ship....we don’t get angry or impatient because getting 4,000 plus guests off the ship is no smooth process.
