Overall we had a great time. Noticed the music on the lido deck was much louder this time around compared to our last cruise. It made it hard to talk when we had family meals there but that is something that can be fixed. Not everyone likes loud music should be something they look into for future trips
Embarkation
5 out of 5
They did an amazing job, so well organized compared to our last cruise 7 years ago. We had 9 people altogether and we all got through in record time.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was really good along with the drinks in the areas we could get to. The disappoint was that some of them shut down too early. The biggest let down was the Pig and anchor bar not being open long enough during the trip. That was one place we really wanted to try and they were closed everyday except on sailing days and that made for a huge long line up that was impossible to wait in. Not sure the reasoning behind the closures during meal times while we were back on board after our Port calls. Big disappointment.
Northern Lights and Southern Lights Dining Rooms
5 out of 5
We attended the suppers at Southern lights dinning room and it was fantastic. The servers we had were fabulous.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Struggled with the pools and hot tubs being taken over by kids. If you were able to get in the kids were all over and never allowed room for the adults to just relax.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Excellent
Children's Programs
We had teenagers who didn't want to go into any programa

It was very comfortable for the four of us. Loved the cove balcony best gift ever.
Ship tip
Make sure it's not during spring break if you don't want a lot of kids aboard.
We stayed overnight disappointed in the cost of the hotel. Got our bill when we arrived home and it was not mentioned to us about a tourist development tax. Being Canadian we are given a choice if we want to pay this or not. The hotel was not worth the cost and its website made it look better than it was. Needed upgrading.
We did an excursion last visit with the dolphins. It was amazing. This time we had to pay to go on a beach just to relax, very disappointed and regretted being talked into it. Total cost for my family in Canadian dollars was 225.00 outrages...to sit on a beach.
We didn't mind staying on the ship longer because we had a late flight home but the lines were long and when you have been up late and up early you don't want to have to wait once you get off the ship.
Thanks for the info on the pools. It looks like I'm going to have to get my pool time in during the off-peak times and maybe port days. I wish they'd also have an adult only pool.
