this was probably not my favorite of my 5 carnival cruises, the staff was not friendly, the food was the same on the past 4 cruises, the Magic was "ok" considering its age.

Review summary

this cruise would of been better if the staff was more friendly, we feel they were advised not to speak to us based on recent cruises. We also feel Carnival should re-due their menus, Every single cruise we've been on they serve they same exact food in the dining room, we choose to eat in the dining room so we can be waited on instead of waiting in long lines in the lido market place.

We have been on the Allure twice and are foodies that live in the city of Chicago. Allure had some of the best food we have had at sea.

I was very disappointed with royal's food but I was on the allure and was told their smaller ships is the way to go. Everything was over cooked and bland on the allure
