Amazing cruise. This was my first time on a cruise ever. I will now be a lifer. Should have done this a long time ago. I was so worried about getting seasick, but I took meclizine like clock work 2 days prior to the cruise and throughout and it worked like a charm. I got my sea legs immediately.
Embarkation

Easy and quite fast. I stayed at a hotel for the night prior and shuttled in so getting to the port was very easy and quick. The hotel Raddison at Port Canaveral had an area where we could park our car and it $6 per day.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Once you get used to what buffet is available to you and the areas that are open it was great. As far as the main dining room, the food was luscious and the service was impeccable. We ate at Guy’s Burger Joint, which was pretty good. We didn’t even eat at the specialty restaurants.
Onboard Activities

We did the Spa, the pool, and hot tubs. The spa was great until they tried to upsail everything and get you to buy more product, which made me feel uncomfortable. After they went through there offers, if you said no, a few of them were very nonchalant and quick to the point and it made me feel I did them wrong. The hot tubs were not very warm, but felt like it was lukewarm.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
For musicians and DJs, After a certain hour it gets a little “R” rated with language and lucidity. So be wary for the kiddos. The stage shows were good and kept us entertained and engaged, especially Love and Marriage, I’m still laughing over it.
Children's Programs
I had no kids on the cruise

Ship tip
Do not run going back into the ship entrance because they will get to you quicker than cop chasing a runaway donut 🍩. My friend was so excited on her excursion on Roatan, she was coming back in to get her bathing suit and get me and she tried to bolt through ship/port security and boy did they nail her. So don’t run like a frantic banshee from excitement.
Meclizine is what I took. I premedicated 2 days in advance since that is what my doctor recommended. I tried the wrist bands, but they were too tight and made indented marks on my wrists.
What were you taking to prevent seasickness? I thought I would be fine and on my first cruise I ended up struggling and taking Bonine sold on the ship and it helped a little. Also when I was drinking heavily enough to have a buzz I was fine also hahaha. Did you just take Dramamine?
Jewelry, invicta watches, clothing, etc. This is the night prior to the cruise ending. They usually have mega sales like this on night 6 & 7 on a 7-night Cruise. Btw, all ship stores close when you are in a port. So when you get back on the ship and leave ports of call then the ship stores reopen.
NoemilLane, thanks for the information I will be a first time cruiser on Dec 30th so when you say they have a huge sale the last nite what will be on sale & is this the nite before you board? Thanks for any comments
Lots of sunscreen. The sun and waters has double strength UV light and you can roast in 20 minutes. Bug spray is a must. I got my flu shot. Your in a boat with over 4000 people and in close quarters. Wash your hands often and use sanitizer. Try to get early dining and also try to eat breakfast before the rush. 0630 to 0700 is a good time to eat at the buffet. Guys burger joint is simply delish. Make sure to bring sanitary napkins or tampons prior to boarding because they are so expensive if you buy on the ship or in port. Your showers will have a pull out clothes line for you to hang your bathing suits. Make sure to do a robe and towel count because they will charge you for missing towels and robes. The pictures they take on the cruise are expensive with the elegant backdrops. So be ready to spend about $200+ on them. I did not think the alcohol drink package was worth it unless you drink heavy. I did get the soda package and it was worth it. They have diet, Zero, and regular soft drinks. They will nickel and dime you to death on just about anything so be weary and pack smart. Also if you wait till the last night they will have huge sales of up to 80% of everything so be on the look out. Nothing wrong with trolling.
