While the food was terrible & the ship rocked too much, we had a great week just enjoying being on vacation. We loved the ports & getting to the beaches. The hot tubs were a disappointment, they should have been "Hot." The Serenity deck should also have a pool, so adults can swim without kids running around & jumping in.
Embarkation

It was quick & no problems or issues. After getting on board, we didn't get our luggage for several hours but that wasn't a big deal.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The service was wonderful, loved all the staff! I purchased the endless bubbles for myself, I had a terrible time getting any soft drinks. The only place I could order with my food was the main dining room. Other than that, I had to go to one of the bars to order for breakfast & lunch & anytime during the day I wanted a drink. Many times I had to wait while the bartender took other orders for ppl getting alcohol.
For the most part, the food was lousy. The breakfast buffet was okay, while not hot. The lunch & dinner buffet was not appetizing at all. The choices were all odd combinations, no plain or regular options. Each international cuisine had exotic options and that's fine, however the staples of each should have also been offered. The Mexican stand did not offer beef tacos, but did offer chicken, pork, & fish. It offered a huge salsa bar, but no chips or queso. The Mongolian bar did not have rice or meat dishes, everything was pasta & meat dishes. The Italian was not the basic dishes of pasta & sauces. The main dining room dinners offered exotic dishes, and some general foods. The grilled chicken was completely white with no seasoning, looked like it was cooked in a microwave & was tasteless. The flat iron steak had no flavor whatsoever, the pork same. The baked potatoes were undercooked & tough. The main course choices each day was literally "What can I get down" instead of "Oh that looks delicious!" The desserts were edible, nothing so good we asked for it again. Each meal was a disappointment as we have heard how wonderful the food is on cruises. While most ppl take pics of their meals & post to social media, I did not. I have had friends comment that I didn't show any pics of the food, was it not any good?
The best meal we had was Guy's burgers & the pizza was okay. Thank goodness for both otherwise we would have starved.
Onboard Activities

We only used the Aft deck pool a few times as the water was cold. All of the hot tubs were NOT hot, some were not even warm & 2 were actually cold. Most of the time they were like bath water. We complained to several staff members all week, along with other cruisers. In fact, everyone that got into them complained about the temps. Ppl would walk up & ask "Is the water cold in this one too?" and then fuss about them all being cool. The Serenity deck hot tubs were warmer than the others, however that deck was closed several times the entire week.
Entertainment

We were pleased with the shows/performances we went to. The Piano bar, with Patrick Duffy, was by far THE BEST.

Cabin / Stateroom

We were pleased with our cabin, was very clean & comfortable.
Terrible. Everyone was backed up leaving the ship, due to the gangway being blocked. After finally leaving the ship, getting our luggage & getting to the final customs exit took a really long time. The staff wasn't as friendly & helpful as on the 1st day.
Well of course the captain cannot control the water being rough. However, the food being terrible CAN be controlled and the hot tubs not being cold CAN be controlled.
