This was definitely the least enjoyable cruise I have been on. I think it would probably have been okay if not for the terrible service we received in the dining room and at the quick service dining areas. I am not sure if the dining rooms were understaffed or if the waiters just didn't care or if we were provided poor service because we had our children with us (compared to our service staff's other tables, who were all adults). Whatever the reason, it really put a damper on our vacation. We may try another cruise line next time after this experience.

Breakfast in the Southern Lights dining room was pretty good each morning, but other than that the food was terrible overall. I actually LOST weight on this trip. The buffet was closed nearly every time I was hungry, so I only ate there 3 times on the whole trip. I guess I eat at weird times of the day compared to others. I can't say I enjoyed any of the dinners in the dining room. The food was not very good and was always cold by the time we got it.

Dining room service was soooo sloooooww! It took no less than 90 minutes every single night. By the time we got our food, it was cold every night. Definitely the worst food and service of any cruise I've taken. Our room steward was very nice and did a good job tidying our room daily. However, we hardly ever saw him and I found myself hunting down other stewards when we needed something because no one answered the phone when I called.

Clean, but confusing layout in my opinion. We were still getting lost on the last day. I generally have a good sense of direction, but had a hard time finding my way around.
