Tables on deck or inside seating were not bused. Dirty dishes everywhere. Slick floors around drink station numerous times. Broken/out of order drink machines, ice cream machines. not just one but several, i felt like i was eating leftovers alot of the time.

Wait Staff rarely came around to ask if we needed any drinks. When we did stop them for a drink, they took way to long and would forget who ordered. Piano bar wait staff never asked if we wanted a refill. Rock and roll venue was very rude we were bothering them.

I wasnt being ugly dennisonya was simply saying ANY vacation is what ya make of it not all my vacations were perfect i was just saying try to see the good and fun in everything thats all i work with death every day and hear stories of regrets just saying life is short have fun!!

I agree! I'd hate to see someone give up on the fun of cruising just because of one unpleasant experience.

Apparently the poster has just one CRUISE. on Magic. And this is all the review they have. Which gives nothing to compare it to. That said... I hope you try another cruise as to give a more complete thought.

There's a reason this area of ShipMate is called "User REVIEWS". It's so other people can learn from the experiences other Cruisers have had and hopefully use that info when booking future cruises. "I've had better" ISN'T a REVIEW, it's a STATEMENT and it tells the reader NOTHING. Which ships did the poster fell were "better", and why? Better food? Better room Steward's? Better decor? Better on board activities? Better swimming pools? The original post reviews NOTHING. It's kinda like my posting "I like blue better." Sure, that may be my opinion and (as you point out) I am entitled to it. But it's not a review, nor is it helpful. The whole purpose of this area of shipmate (called "User REVIEWS") is so we can read other cruiser' REVIEWS.

I agree with you on that point OceanSky, but everyone is entitled to express themselves as they see fit, weather it gives insight or not. My first response was directed at the mabridges post.

@ DenniSonya - I personally have no problem with someone writing a negative review and have even thanked some of the writers. But the original poster of this thread left a review that was SO nebulous, that it served no purpose. When someone lists examples of what they liked and didn't like on a cruise, we all benefit. But a review that imparts NO information other than "I've had better", followed by a crap load of periods, ISN'T A REVIEW!!

I've sailed only Carnival and have enjoyed every cruise, including this one that judya133's was on. but I agree with them. When someone say how they feel people want to jump all over them. My family and I enjoyed our time because we made the best of it, but that doesn't change the fact that the service was very poor. This is the first time, the staff for the most part was unfriendly. Stop riding people who feel differently or see things differently from you.

Vacation is what you make of it if you have one bad experience and you let that ruin the rest of your trip then thats your fault instead use that as part of the adventure just go with it! Being able to vacation at all is a blessing when so many cant even do a one night out!!
