My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. From the beginning to the end, being on the ship was almost better than getting off at the ports. Dr E was absolutely the greatest entertainer we've seen on any cruise. Loved his energy! We were also very pleased with the caliber of food served in the northern and southern lights dining rooms for breakfast and dinner. The staff and crew were so friendly and service was excellent. This is a great cruise for the whole family. During our week, there were over a thousand children on board but it didn't bother us bc we escaped to the serenity area of the ship and the spa. That was lovely!  All in all, great experience and we'd love to go again with our children.

If you get the spa cabin, be sure to make the most of it by using the spa facilities from day one. Also, make sure you have slippers and a robe in your room. They didn't give us robes until we asked which was three days after we set sail.

Ship Tip

The hype of shopping in St Thomas is overrated. Surprisingly, Puerto Plata and San Juan was a better shopping experience. Grand Turk was too crowded bc the Carnival Glory was there when we embarked & it was too many people in a small space. The water was best but it was still to hot & over crowded.
