Review summary

When we arrived in our we noticed my nieces luggage had not arrived. When we asked guest services they couldn't explain where the luggage was. They claimed it was somewhere aboard the ship. No one ever bothered to check, the staff myself n my fiancé had to check physically check ever deck and ask around! Everything you could possibly imagine you would need for a 2 yr old was in her suitcase. She only had the clothes on her BACK. The next morning guest services said the luggage was onboard the valor a completely different ship. We have returned back from our sorry ass cruise and they told us the bag would be shipped to our home. The BAG IS STILL NOT HERE!!! Also our travel agent told is we had an onboard credit of $200 thAt was a LIE only $25 for 2 people. The agent also said she would request for lactaid milk be sent to our room for my 2 yr old niece who is lactose, NEVER GOT THE MILK. Our travel agent...LIED!!!!

Sad to blame Carnival for a travel agent's mistake. I, too, am lactose intolerant and never have a problem getting lactose-free milk delivered to our room or finding it on the buffet. One cruise I did have to wait ten minutes -nbd- because someone had to run to MDR to get more. Guest Services will bend backwards to help solve any problem!

I cannot see how a piece of luggage ended up on the Valor. It's not like they are docked side by side. He should have received compensation for new clothes which wasn't mentioned. I always get the promises of a travel agent in writing and that has nothing to do with Carnival. I would imagine they keep lactose free milk on board.

Contact carnival head quarters they will compensate you you might end up with another cruise a free one

I can't see it spoiling the entire cruise that you give the cruise one star. You must have some positive experiences?

I have been reading posts on this App for months now and you are the first that I have read to post about luggage going missing-i would think it's rare. I too would be peeved and I am surprised they did not offer you some compensation. I would approach your travel agent as well about the on board credit as it should be stated somewhere in your documents.

Just a as a last note, we always make sure all our luggage is together. We give it to one person and watch it until we can't see it. In NYC it goes from a small baggage cart to a larger one.

I dislike when people tell me things in hind sight but for others, always confirm important items with the cruise ship company. The luggage was a huge mistake, but I'm sure it was an accident. The cruise should of given you money to buy new clothes on the ship and first port. The milk very important, and that's way you have to check with the cruise ship company.
