So-so cruise

Sail Date: September 16, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Didn't really have the "feel" or look of a newer ship.

Pros: Ports

Cons: cold food,room location

Recommends Carnival Magic? Yes!

Food and Dining
buffet dining food was always cold.
Cabin / Stateroom
"balcony" stateroom wasn't! Expected the added cost of a balcony room would be located over the water as we have enjoyed on several different cruises on different cruise lines. this one was located above the Promenade deck with a hot tub directly below our "balcony".No privacy/enjoyment when using the "balcony" as the hot tub was usually full of loud, partying people at all times of the day & night.
Ship Quality
most entertainment was just average.expected more & better
