Very beautiful designs and very clean.

Overall great relaxing experience. Try to board early and relax at lunch (noon). Don't fly home before noon. Do Cozumel beach club on your own by taking a cab from port. Belize City not nice. Roatan was beautiful. Maya Key or Mahoganny Bay pricey but good. Best snorkeling in Grand Cayman near the cruise ship.

Everything on board was great

late seating dinner food was soggy and not fresh, no wine steward, balcony cabin doors slam shut and shake all cabins even those above or below. Poor written information and details about events. signage for excursions, few maps of ship,

Loved our cruise. Only wanted more time in ports. Port time not enough for shopping and excursions. We had to choice between both.

Very clean and well staffed

The ship was large enough to handle the first day of rough seas and large enough to handle all cruisers needs when we were at sea on sea days. the balcony room was great, the room service also.

Easy to get around, Always clean, Deck 10 was great for walking, Running entire length of ship, Casino had several different choices of slot machines. Hot Tub in adult area really could only fit 4 people it was so small. On last sea day one main hot tub in the pool area was out of service and the hot tub in the gym area was not working because the water would not get hot. The hot tub in the gym area was also not working day before.

We sailed on the Legend last week. Our room was great and the food in the dining room was excellent. Overall, however, I was disappointed in our trip. I cruised many years ago on various lines, including Carnival, and found many things lacking. The entertainment was very limited, there was no information about the ship or crew readily available, there was limited communication from the ship comiing in and out of ports, and the days at sea were only fair.

We did not like the layout of this ship. We did not like all the smoking in the casino,so we stayed away from there. We did enjoy the all adult swimming pool and deck!! we made the mistake of getting a balcony room under the lido deck. Very loud and had to listen to them move chairs every morning at 3am. we changed rooms! Lot's of unsupervised kids running around! did not like that they closed adult pool so early.

Ships themed decor was middle ages roman. Dark, not very fun.

The ship (as always) was very clean and tidy. You could tell the staff's number one priority was pleasing guests and to keep the ship in immaculate shape.

I sailed the Legend when it was brand new (it's second voyage) and it still looks gorgeous. The decor is beautiful and it is kept in impeccable condition. The ship is large so you never feel crowded and you can always find a nice quiet place if you so choose. The food on the Lido deck never disappointed and the cuisine in the dining room was top notch.

I went on a last minute 7-day cruise of the western Caribbean, embarking from Tampa. The places where we stopped were great (Cozumel, Belize, Roatan (Honduras), and Grand Cayman), and the service was good. The ship itself is clearly dated, although clean, and activities were fine but seemed more limited compared to other ships. Our stateroom was in poor condition and had a seriously wet floor for the last two days of the cruise. The typical passenger on this ship personified the stereotypes of typical cheap cruisers.

Cruise was great!

The Carnival Legend had an amazing staff. My son commented that he had never met so many friendly, happy people. Everyone went out of their way to make everything perfect, from our room steward to the excursions desk, and the dining room staff. The food was much better than expected. We booked an ocean view suite which was well worth the money when you are traveling with a teenager. The Club 02 was fun for our son. We enjoyed his independence as well. Dined at the Steakhouse. We highly recommend that experience. Excursions were well run, from Scuba in Cozumel, cave tubing in Belize, zip-lining in Mahogany Bay. The Carnival excursions were well run and worth the $. Another excursion company had a broken down tour bus that we passed in Belize. I would not want to have been with that group. An extra hour or so in each port would have been welcomed. We only had time to do an excursion, with little or no time to explore a port. This was most disappointing in Cozumel. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful family vacation.

Carnival Legend is a great ship. We stayed in cabin 8174, there was some noise from the pool on the floor above us, but nothing too bothersome. An extended balcony is certainly the way to go, I couldn't imagine not having a balcony. The service was amazing with extremely friendly staff. We had a beautiful wedding service at the port of Tampa prior to departure, my family had a wonderful day. The wedding, honeymoon, and overall experience exceeded my expectations. It amazes me the logistics involved running this ship and it all went smoothly. At times the excursions felt a bit rushed and I didn't feel I got the quality for the money, but this is only because I am used to traveling by land on my own schedule, so being hoarded around in groups of tourists was certainly a different way to see new countries and cultures. However, I wouldn't let that detour you from enjoying excursions. I couldn't have been happier with the overall experience.

We sailed on the Carnival Legend, first cruise for us. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed all the port stops. The size of the ship was perfect for us although we felt like the decor was too dark. Our room size was very nice and we enjoyed the bacony, quiet and private. Most of the food was very good with lots of options. Our steward was very nice and always cheerful.

This was our first cruise out of Tampa and the embarkation process went very smoothly. The Legend is an older ship and we found we missed the amenities offered on larger ships (widescreen at poolside, larger spa area, etc.). Most disappointing was the quality of food selections in the main dining room. Their selections of entrees were very disappointing from past cruises. Our dining room staff were very cheerful, but the entire dining staff seemed rushed. I would assume that Carnival has cut the number of servers, as it seemed they were all rushing. Our room stewards were very efficient - our room was very clean and they were most helpful with any request.
