This was our first cruise out of Tampa and the embarkation process went very smoothly. The Legend is an older ship and we found we missed the amenities offered on larger ships (widescreen at poolside, larger spa area, etc.). Most disappointing was the quality of food selections in the main dining room. Their selections of entrees were very disappointing from past cruises. Our dining room staff were very cheerful, but the entire dining staff seemed rushed. I would assume that Carnival has cut the number of servers, as it seemed they were all rushing. Our room stewards were very efficient - our room was very clean and they were most helpful with any request.

Pros: Port of Roatan

Cons: The quality of the food and the fewer choices

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Food and Dining
The entertainment at the end of the meals is always a highlight, and they did not disappoint! Food choices were very poor compared to past cruises.
Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Although an older ship, the room was very clean.
