If you are a pre Covid cruiser the quality has gone down a bit but it's still nice to be back cruising.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Best port I've cruised out of. Small line up when we got in terminal but went threw very quick was on the ship with in 30 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food was good. I did find the quality and portions went down hill from previous cruises in the MDR and steak house
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Mostly hung out at serenity pool. Very clean no complaints
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The elevator music at the serenity pool gets old quick. The comedians were good and deal or no deal was fun also.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
For the most part service was good. Sometimes hard to get a waiter while playing in casino. Our MDR waitress was less then impressive most of the time felt rushed by her bringing courses when I wasn't done the one I was eating.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was clean and well taken cared off. Some of the wash rooms could of used a little more attention during cruising days.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was a stanard extended balcony in the mid ship. Our cabin steward did an excellent job everyday.
Ship tip
If your going on a casino offer with drinks on us in casino it's not as easy as it use to be to get a drink. You might want to consider the Cheers program if your a bit of a drinker.
I really enjoyed the island. Rented a golf cart drove around the whole island stopped at a couple of beaches. We also stop at a couple of bars had some awsome conch salad at Pat and Ebies.
This will be our first time back after Covid. I have heard the sad stories but love to cruise and platinum with carnival. I hope I’m not disappointed. 😍
Yes a lot of cutbacks it started about 10 years ago. Now it’s really sad how much they don’t let us experience any more! But we can still have a fun time cruising today!!
