Review summary

We did a 7 day cruise on the Legend. I stated the issues on our bath tub earlier so I won't regurgitate that. The food was delicious and I certainly never found myself without something delicious to snack on. Service was pretty good all around, Ze our cabin steward was pretty good. Ports were nice to get off at and I'm definitely hoping to go back to Nassau & Bimini. Freeport was meh. I really enjoyed my cruise and I certainly felt the cruise blues afterwards.

Embarkation

Baltimore cruise port is super smooth. From the time we stepped out of our Lyft to the time we were on the Lido deck sipping our cocktails it was maybe 20 minutes. Similar efficiency debarking.

The Legend definitely shows its age. The decor was tacky at best. We had a grand suite where the jetted tub was beyond filthy, the steward to his credit had it deep cleaned, but then it broke later in the cruise where the maintenance man laughed in my fiance's face for wanting to use it.

Cabin / Stateroom

The jetted tub was filthy at the start. The cabin steward Ze cleaned it when we mentioned it. Then, it broke two days later where a jet simply didn't work anymore. Repair guy literally laughed in my fiance's face when we asked for it to be repaired. So glad we didn't pay full price for this cabin. Other than that, the cabin was nice in that it had PLENTY of space. The balcony was huge although covered in paint splatters. It was very nice having a separate vanity area, especially on formal night.

Ship tip

Take a minute to appreciate that you're on a cruise ship. This ship is old so don't expect fancy features or incredibly fast elevators. Although, listen closely when the elevators say Deck. Sounds like something else and we had a giggle about it.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Even when the older ships go for dry dock, the decor isn’t the priority. Older ships tend to have the Caribbean colors that were expected to be part of the cruise experience. Sorry you were unable to use the tub. Glad you still found things to enjoy.
