the itinerary for this cruise was great we had sea days in between ports so we could rest up and sleep in and enjoy the ship activities.. we had enough time in ports except for grand cayman when we had to be back at 4pm.. the crew was like family by the end of 14 days I hated to get off the ship
Embarkation

very smooth
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
great food and waiters were fabulous
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
enjoyed the trivia contests and educational talks I would have liked more dance lesson options. and big screen movies the jacuzzis weren't really working but were still relaxing.. great gym but they played rotten music.. the ship played really nice music throughout the cruise
Entertainment
4 out of 5
the live acts were very good but some of the adult comedy was too profane.. don't think there's any call for such bad language especially when the family shows were so funny without cussing
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
our room steward iwayan was fantastic.. he knew our names from day one and kept us well organized
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
there were 4 banks of 6 elevators.. we never waited more than a minute for an elevator.. the theme of the ship is ancient civilizations so the artwork is classic greek and roman etc.. the Grecian urns on all the staircases and railing are al little hard to get used to but I learned to like them . there was a smoking section up on deck witch was terrible to walk through.. but I learned that it was only on one side of the ship and it had sliding glass doors to contain the smoke so I learned how to avoid that area.. Unfortunately there was so much smoke in the casino that we couldn't use it.. there needs to be a glassed off area to contain the smoke in there too so non smokers can play..
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
cabin was nice size and it was great to go through the canal- cause we watched as we were down and 2 feet away from the concrete wall and then rose up to be level with the pulley trains.. the beds were ok could use a cushy topper.. there was a fluffy comforter under the bed that we found as we were packing up to leave.. the bathroom was nice size and the water was instantly hot and never ran out.. the closets weren't the best set up cause the doors blocked the entrance .and they weren't big enough to store a large suitcase but those cases fit under the bed just fine. there were several hooks inside and out of the bathroom good for hanging hats and swimwear but it would have been nice to have a few more hooks for sleepwear and visors etc
Ship tip
being on the first floor made exiting and returning on the ship a breeze we just had to travel one staircase each time we left the ship
we took a bus to the sloth sanctuary and had a canoe ride thru the rain forect and saw howler monkeys and beautiful rainforest foilage terminal building at the port had lots of local vendors
we took a boat ride around the bay to enjoy the city view then went to the fort and old town for shopping street vendors are aggressive but I never felt unsafe
gorgeous town and friendly people..the slave museum was terrific. .got to see the oldest synagogue in the Caribbean.. the floating bridge and fort are unique
dove the kittywake wreck and the water was warm and the next reef was gorgeous as well wish I had more time to waunder Georgetown my sister went to turtle farm and said it was great
we were assigned a number and we left the ship in that order..some people were impatient with that process but i thougt it was handeled very well for the number of handicapped passengers that were on the cruise we were allowed to stay in in our cabins until 830 so we had time to eat breakfast and get packed up..our luggage was easy to find and a porter helped us load right away
Thanks for the great review. I totally agree with you about the smoke and the crude language in the adult shows. You can be funny and entertaining without being gross.
Glad you enjoyed your cruise and the great Legend.
