An amazing experience with only one problem (food poisoning from the main dining room).

Food and Dining

We enjoyed the food everywhere until the 3rd formal night when 3 of the 4 people at our table (who all ordered the lobster and shrimp) became violently ill about 4 hours later. Missed going ashore and our excursion in Grand Cayman. Next two days were awful but this did not override an otherwise awesome experience. It was obvious that there was an issue (but no one - Medical, Dining or Guest Services would admit it) since the water shuttles never required tickets all day and there was no wait except for the people on the shuttle waiting for it to fill up which sometimes took a long time.

You should be able to find something you can enjoy if you look.
Entertainment

Sorry, but the Playlist Players were not at their best level yet. Seems like many performers were having trouble with their earpieces as they were pulling them out during their performance.

Great people taking wonderful care of us. Who can complain?
Other than the canal transit probably our favorite day. We highly recommend the La Victoria Coffee plantation excursion. Established in 1892 they still use 100+ year old water powered equipment. Hope you get the owner for your tour as she is amazing. So remote that the last 30 minutes you have to get into 4 wheel drive vehicles to reach the coffee farm through a rough tropical rainforest “road” but that is a fantastic experience itself.
Oh no! Sorry to hear about that. Our sons got sick on our second cruise and while it didn't totally ruin it, it sure does put a damper on fun. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Interesting. Our first cruise in 2017, was on the Carnival Legend. I was sick with food poisoning from the seafood gumbo. Everything else was fine. I stear clear from anything real saucy with sea food now.
