Review summary
Carnival Legend was our first cruise. I truly think you get out of an experience, what you put into it. We did tons of research for each port and the ship. And even though Carnival is a bit of a party atmosphere (if you're looking for that) we found the Legend suited us to a "T". We found places that suited us. We are sold on cruising as much as the cruise experience as the wonderful people we met. We are both very shy, but found staff, as well as other cruisers, kind, friendly and respectful. Yes, there were a few sour apples in the barrel, but the Legend was more than big enough for us to just move along and find our own spot.Embarkation

Food and Dining
Farenheit 555
Had reservations the first night onboard. Great service (free bottle of wine!) the meal my husband and I had (to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary) was incredible. We had the place almost entirely to ourselves! We will always book the steakhouse on the first night of every cruise!!!
Truffles Restaurant
Dined there as often as possible, with anytime dining. Never had to wait more than 20 minutes for a perfect table (We wait for up to 90 minutes on shore at our favorite restaurant & still not get a good table) Loved the food and didn't get a chance to try everything I wanted to try. Guess we'll had to cruise again ;-)
Pizza Pirate
Can I say the thinnest crust and who can argue with 3am pizza, made to order! Yumm!
Taste Bar
So fun to grab a quick nibble and a cocktail before heading into dinner!
The Carnival Deli
Great place to grab a sandwich! Fresh and the best!
Onboard Activities
The Fun Shops
Loved just browsing the first day and then kept an eye on the Fun Times for sales on the things I wanted... Brings out the bargain hunter in me. Plus, I netted some precious things to bring home at slashed prices!
Enchanted Forest Interior Promenade
My personal retreat to read a book or look at the ocean!

Ship tip
Research, research, research! My husband and I are very quiet people and weren't sure that the "FUN SHIPS" of Carnival would suit us. Through scouting out deck plans and checking our folks VLOGS, we found many quiet places to read a book or just enjoy people watching.
