Review summary

The customer services was very friendly. The food was just okay, needs some improvements. My complain was that the one of the wheels on our luggage was broken when it was delivered to us to our room and we complained to the customer service desk. She was nice and seem like she wanted to help. She checked the luggage and stated that since it's one of the outside wheels, we can still roll it back to California and have it fix, then sent them the bill. I don't even know how to go about having it fix, nor if it's worth it. Also they broke the built-in lock on my mom's luggage but I didn't make a fuss because they probably not going to offer anything anyway. That left a bad feeling for us through out our trip and we had a hard time bring our 3-wheeled luggage home. We are just going to throw our luggage away. I usually book our cruises with Carnival but I think we will consider other cruise lines from now on.

Sorry to read about the broken luggage lock and wheel. These things happen. At least the cruise line offered you reimbursement.

One of our wheels was broken off by the airlines last month. On our day of sightseeing in Seattle we bought a new one and my husband rolled it all over Seattle without complaining before we took the light rail back to hotel at airport that evening . We just left the old luggage at the hotel before boarding the ship. The airport does not pay for broken wheels so it was very nice of Carnival to offer to pay for it.

I agree with everyone here, airlines damage luggage-it happens! Maybe you should stick to driving everywhere from now on, then you could carry your own luggage everywhere. Carnival offered to repair it just like every other cruise line would do. seems like the cruise line was not the problem!

why on earth would this situation leave a bad feeling? cripe.

"Not going to offer anything anyway"? Sounds like they did make an offer to fix the problem but you're choosing not to live up to your end of the deal. Since they offered to pay for the repair, what makes you think that they would make the same offer to fix the broken lock? Do you know what a search engine is? Google? There is this crazy place called the Internet where you can type stuff into a box and quickly find anything that you want and very close to you. It's wild!!

Next time just bring carry on and a back pack. I got sick of lost or damaged bags.

Carnival delivered one piece of my luggage damaged and told me to find a comparable piece at one of the ports and they would reimburse me and they did.

Another cruise line for a broken wheel...priceless

Did you buy the travel insurance?

Did you expect them to fix it on the ship? I doubt they have a luggage wheel repair shop. Sounds like they were fair in their offer. If that is the only issue you had on your trip, you are very lucky.

accidents do happen.and they offered to pay for it to get fixed.and just wondering how old is it?and to get it fixed I would call company that makes it and they can direct you farther.
