Review summary

It is really hard to pick out my favorite part of the cruise.  It is all fantastic.  The ship and the crew were all awesome.  Out of the ports visited, I think Ketchikan was my favorite.  However Juneau, Skagway, Seattle and Victoria were all great too.  I had spent a lot of time in Seattle previously, so I was already familiar with this great city.  I wish that we had a little more day time to spend in Victoria though.  It was a father/daughter cruise, and we both enjoyed it very much.  We did a whale watch excursion and a train excursion to White Pass, and both were really nice.  Just a great time all  in all.

Cabin was nice, but our steward was fantastic. We enjoyed the extended balcony as much as we could, but we really were not in the room much except to sleep.

Ship tip

I will personally not book a cabin on the eighth deck under the Lido deck again. It is much too noisy trying to sleep. I think it may have been the movable glass roof sliding back and forth in addition to all of the carts and such. My daughter and I are both light sleepers though.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear that you did not have a problem with bugs. We talked to a gentleman who went in July and he said the bugs were awful.

We were on the legend May 23-30. No bugs or mosquitos at all. Cruise was awesome.

How was the weather? Rain? Any problems with bugs--mosquitos, no see umms etc. We were told by some that bugs can be a problem. Thanks.
